Hi,

I have tried to use the EVM but the GUI does not recognize the EVM.

After launched the GUI and then connected the EVM with USB, the following massage appeared.

That is to say, "Controller is not responding"...

Probablly I mistook something jumper setting but I do not understand.

I have set the jumpers as Table 2-1 and 2-2 (page 7) of EVM manual and J13/pin7 connected to VDD and J13/pin9 to GND.

Will you give me any advise about this situation?

Hi Takumi-san,

Did you update the firmware of the Launchpad using the UniFlash tool? Make sure to do this without the BOSTXL-DAC-PORT connected. Also make sure the USB is plugged into the DEBUG side during this step. The tool might autodetect your device, but if not, select the EK-TM4C1294XL:

Then you will be able to upgrade the firmware to the version that is compatible with the GUI. When that is successful, configure the jumpers and move the USB back to U7 when you start up the GUI.

Hi Katlynne-san,

After trying to set up several times, as a result, I could succeed to set up.

The root cause to fail was "COM port selection".

In case of this my case, "COM7/9600baud" was OK and COM3 and COM6 were NG...

I'm sorry to bother you but your support was very helpful.
