ADS5263: What is your recommendation to do with the unused 14 bit input?

Dear Sir or Madam,

What is your recommendation to do with the INxB_P/M analog inputs if only the 16 bit inputs are used? The question targets mainly conditions where external disturbances are minimized. Can the 14 bit lines somehow still influence the 16 bit path or is there a way to completely galvanically remove them?

Hi,

The INxB_P/M pins can be left floating if you are using the ADC in 16-bit mode. Internally, there is a switch which disconnects these pins from internal nets when you choose 16-bit mode.

If you want to be cautious, then you can connect these pins to the VCM pin as well. Both would be fine.
