ADC12SJ1600-Q1: Performance in single-ended configuration

Hi Team,

Section 9.3.1 of the datasheet of ADC12SJ1600-Q1 stated that it is compatible with single-ended input signals albeit with degraded performance. Our customer would like to request more details/measurements about the expected performance of ADC12SJ1600-Q1 in single-ended configuration.

Hi Neeraj,

Thank you for your response. Please see the feedback of our customer below.

We plan to sample at 1 GHZ and the input frequency should be somewhere in the ballpark of 100 MHz (we need to sample fast pulses with full width half maximum of 3ns).

Hi Danilo,

Here is performance of ADC at 1G sampling and 100MHz input with single ended input.

As you can see the SFDR and Harmonics related performance is degraded because of using the ADC with single ended input.
