In fact, I encountered an issue with Firmware update unsuccessfully before and it has been resolved by upgrading the driver. Now, when testing the ADC function, no data appears.

Can you verify the version of firmware and software you have loaded?.  You can find it under the Help->About option.  Can you also let me know if you are able to write and read to/from the registers?

How to check whether I can set the registers correctly?

From the menu on the left, you can gain access to the REGMAP.  From there, you have the ability to read and write to the various registers internal to the ADS7142.

I can set some various registers immediately, such as OPMODE_SEL,ACC_EN. But some various registers can't be set such as OFFSET_CAL,ABORT_SEQUENCE.

Is this phenomenon normal？

It shows that there is at least some communication happening.  Does everything work correctly if you try using I2C command mode instead of autonomous mode?

Hi Jenny,

In Autonomous mode, you won't see conversion results on the graph until you reach an alarm threshold.  You first need to choose the operating mode and then click the 'SET' button.  You can then set high and low thresholds and click on the Start Sequence button.  I set up my EVM and then put a shunt jumper  on the CH0 pins and got this result:

The alarm was triggered and the low threshold Alert turned red.  Click on the Low Threshold Alert and then start the sequence over again:

I got the new EVM board without any changes,the data can be read from I2C command Mode.

2, For the data is up to 2000, why the alarm  not be triggered?

3,I configed the Coversion Mode to Autononous Mode, Becase the Alarm not be trigged, I can't read the comversion result.

No, you do not have to put the jumper on.  I just did that as a means to force a low threshold trigger.  This is what I see in I2C Command Mode:

We are testing the EVM board and are we very reliant on the BOOTSTXL-ADS7142 GUI website? During my testing process, there are often interfaces where the website cannot be logged in.

I can sometimes trigger alarms through the Auto mode, but it is not stable to receive data.

Yes, that should work.  You can download the GUI Composer Runtime and the BOOSTXL-ADS7142 GUI and that should allow you to run the software locally, without the need to go through the website.

From the Gallery, click on the download button from the ADS7142-Q1 dashboard.  From there you have the option to download the ADS7142GUI.  You will also need to install the GUI Composer Runtime which should install with the ADS7142GUI.
