This board has Kintex Ultrascale+ FPGA. In my simple FPGA design I have only one output signal (1-bit). I need to drive it on SMA connector, pin J15 of the FPGA. I want to use 200 MHz on board oscillator to drive this output. What FPGA pin should I connect this 200 MHz clock? When I connect it to pin Y15 (as TSW14J58EVM schematics sggests) I get Vivado error. Pin Y15 is on bank 84 but my output pin J15 is on bank 87.

What do I do wrong and how to connect 200 MHz clock?

I'm a bit confused by your questions. Are you wanting to output the 200MHz oscillator output to an SMA port of the TSW14J58EVM?

No, of course not. My own logic has output that I connect to pin J15 (sma connector). I need to provide clock to my logic and I want 200 MHzon board oscillator to be my clock source.

I don't know what input pin to specify for this clock. And what IOSTANDARD.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the clarification. So you will be applying an output to FPGA pin J15 which connects to SMA connector J31 (SYNCA) of the TSW14J58EVM. This was my initial confusion, you're asking for the pin name and standard for the 200MHz oscillator. Let me check on that for you.

Hi Alex,

There should be no issue using the 200MHz clock on pin Y15. Can you share the exact error you are receiving when you attempt to use the oscillator on pin Y15?
