Hi,

Customer would like to adopt DAC53608 for dynamically adjustable output.

When DCDC doesn't have slew rate control, can user control slew rate of DAC53608 output using output capacitor?

    Hi David,

    The DAC53608 has an internal op amp to buffer the output. Adding a large output capacitance could cause instability on the op amp. 

    Another option is to manually send DAC codes between your starting value and end value in small steps with delays between each step. That is how devices such as the DAC53204 implement the integrated slew rate control.
