Hi teams:

       I am using   ADS8686SEVM to do some test. I need write C code to communicate with  phi-evm-controller and get the sample data of ADC. Is there a SDK for  phi-evm-controller? or a communication protocol?

    Hi David,

    Unfortunately, the PHI was not designed for the user to use as a general controller to communicate to any device. Our software team developed a GUI and specific firmware for each GUI and device which cannot be shared with the public. And for this device we do not have any example firmware to give. Between the GUI and the default firmware that comes with the ADS8686SEVM, I don't see a reason why you can't use the GUI and capture tab to collect data. 

    If you're trying to develop communication code for your own MCU, I suggest using a logic analyzer in combination with the GUI to capture the SPI format for a given command. Otherwise, all of the information you need is in the datasheet. I understand why you'd ask for this as the device SPI command format is not intuitive, however, we do not any example code to give.
