ADS8509: ADS8509IBDW vs ADS8509BDW

Hello:

I was just like to confirm if the ADS8509IBDW uses the same die as ADS8509BDW? Is the difference between the two parts in if and how the parts are screened? We have confirmed through testing in our application that the ADS8509BDW works just as well as the ADS8509IBDW, but we would like to know if this would hold true for more than 1 sample tested.

Hi Mike,

The ADS8509IBDW and ADS8509BDW both use the same die - they are just tested a little differently based on the temperature limits of the two part numbers.

Same answer applies here as well. The B version is tested to a higher performance level, see page 3 of the datasheet.
