We have an emulation setup which uses a NI PXI setup with a PXIe 7857R Reconfigurable IO Module which contains a 16 Bit DAC. The resolution of the DAC is a little lower than we would like and requires an external circuit to improve the resolution. One alternative option would be to have the PXIe 7857R output the data to an external DAC, like the TI DAC11001A, to improve resolution. The question then becomes how to interface with a DAC11001A. It wouldn't necessarily need to be PXIe, maybe a Dev Board could do the trick. Thanks for any information you might have about that, thanks. Jeff Stearns
