DAC7571: DAC7571IDBVR

Part Number: DAC7571

Hi,

   Greetings,

Currently am using MCP4725A0T-E/CH from Manufacturer ().

Was looking alternate for Same found one reference in TI (DAC7571IDBVR)

As Verified in datasheet Pin Configuration looks ok. only having an Doubt for A0 address. Is this DAC7571IDBVR can be used at the place of MCP please guide.

Regards,

Rahul Varasia

  • Hi Rahul,

You can use the DAC7571 in place of the MCP device and leave A0 wired as is (to VDD or GND). The device addresses between the two devices are completely different (not just A0) so the software would need to be modified as well to use the correct address.

I haven't done a full look through, but there could be other things in software that need to be changes. Most notable is that the MCP has EEPROM, the DAC does not.

    Best,
