I need support regarding the ADS7038 External ADC chip's configuration for CRC
I went through the ADS driver available online but it does not mention about the sequence to enable to the CRC Bit.

Also in datasheet there is no data available for "Register Write with CRC". The section 8.3.9 in the datasheet which is providing information on the Output data format also doesn't provide information on how the CRC is appended to the frame while reading the frame.

Please help with the sequence to enable the CRC Bit in the ADS7038 in Manual Mode with CH/ID or Status Bit appended

Need the following inputs:

1. What will be the frame length of the 1 st register write used to enable the CRC Bit ? 

2. Should we append the CRC during the 1st time setting of CRC_EN bit in the tx array and expect the CRC in RX ? or should we do it only from the next operation?

    Hi Supritha,

    Welcome to our e2e forum!  You would enable the CRC in one frame and then provide the calculated CRC values from the next frame onward.  So 24 bits in the first frame and 32 thereafter.
