When only one device is used and the daisy chain is not required, does the command, "Daisy-chain disable" need to be sent?

Hi Takahashi-san,
No, it is not required. It looks like the daisy-chain disable setting determines if the data is clocked in on the 16th active clock edge, or on the rising edge of synch. This will determine which data is ignored if you happen to have more than 16 clocks in the write sequence.
