ADS8686SEVM-PDK: About the reset signal

To perform A/D conversion, I manually press the reset button to reset the device.
Is it possible to issue an instruction equivalent to pressing the reset button externally using SPI communication?

Hi Seiya,

According to the Users Guide for the ADS8686SEVM-PDK (Figure 12): "There are the Full Reset and Partial Reset buttons. Each of these buttons initiates its respective reset type through software. A hardware reset can be initiated by pressing S1 RST on the EVM." You are doing the manual hardware reset by pressing the button.

Hi Seiya,

If you are using the EVM and GUI/PHI Controller as they were shipped, there is no other way short of cycling power to the device.
