ADS1298R: ADS1298R change MUXn will lead to errors in some channels

Could you elaborate and show some comparison what you mean by errors before and when and after toggle the MUXn = 001(Input shorted) and then set back to 000?

Are you trying to change the register settings while the ADS is STARTED and outputting data?

It may take some clock cycles for the ADS to parse and update the register values change.

At first, the signal is right in every channels.

After I write MUXn=0 for some times, occurionlly, it make some error. As shown below, the signal in the 2nd channel, which is LA-RA is noise now.

WREG during continuous mode should be ok, customers may need to try and debug on scope. 
Please make sure you didn't do any Read register during the readout of the ADC data, which is not allowed and could cause issue.

Otherwise, need to use stop SDATAC, WREG then RDATAC.
