Reference design for a sine wave generator

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC38RF80, TIDA-01084

Hello TI partners,

I am surveying a circuit for a sine wave generator, here is my requirement.

1. Output frequency: DC - 400MHz

2. The amplitude, frequency and phase must be adjustable.

3. Output power up to 0dBm.

I think that is a simple specification. My idea is to use a DAC or DDS.

And I have read TI's reference design 'TIDA-01084', which use a very high performance DAC of DAC38RF80/83.

The sampling rate up to 9GSPS, and the output frequency up to 6&9GHz.

I don't need such high specifications.

Is there other reference parts or designs to achieve my goal?

Many thanks.

SK.
