Do we have any demo code or example code we can share for setting up the ADS8317? My customer would also be interested in help with implementing filters on the incoming data if we have that as well.

Hello John,

We do not have example code for most of the simple single channel ADC's. In the case of ADS8317, a standard 3-wire SPI interface operating in Mode 0 can be used. 3x 8b transfers can be used, and then the processor will need to parse the data.

If the customer needs multiple input channels, the ADS7066 may be of interest, and includes example code.
