TSW12QJ1600EVM: GUI described in the documentation is not the one available on the website

Part Number: TSW12QJ1600EVM

In section 3.9 of the documentation, "Open the TSW12QJ1600EVM GUI and Program the ADC and Clocks", figure 3-2 shows a GUI called "ADC12QJxx00 TI Design GUI". The only program listed in the support software section for this part is called "SLAC809". However, it is a completely different program which, when installed, doesn't have the same name or show any of the panels that are shown in the documentation. It seems to be some kind of TCP interface. I think someone mixed up the programs that are available.

  • Hello,

SLAC809 is does contain the EVM GUI "ADC12QJxx00 TI Design GUI" please download it from this website https://www.ti.com/tool/TSW12QJ1600EVM

This will download a zip file extract that and there should be a file called Setup_ADC12QJ1600ReferenceDesignGUI V1.2.exe run that and this will setup the GUI.

Then you can launch the program and you should get something that looks like this

    Best,

    Eric
