I'm currently testing with the ADC3642 on my board and I'm having some issues. I intend on using the default configuration using pins only and have set REFBUF=0.6V.
Per DS, setting REFBUF = 0.6V sets VREF to internal reference and input clock to differential input, as well as the digital interface to DDR CMOS. I've checked and made sure there is power to the device (1.8V) and a differential 25MHz clock fed into CLKP/M. I've checked the voltage on VREF=1.6V generated internally, but somehow cannot get any of the digital outputs to toggle (clock including). The analog inpus are swinging around a 0.95V common mode voltage with a 1Vpp amplitude. I wonder whether the output buffers for hte digital interface are disabled. If so, how do I enable them. PDN/SYNC pin is set low.
