ADS8861: will there have any risk if REF=5V and AVDD&DVDD=3.3V

Part Number: ADS8861

Hi team,

My customer is using our ADS8861.

Could you please kindly help check will there have any risk if REF=5V and AVDD&DVDD=3.3V?

Thanks,

Brian

  • Hi Brian,

It is ok for the reference voltage to be higher than the supply voltage when using ADS8861. VREF = 5 V and AVDD = DVDD = 3.3 V is an acceptable configuration (this is very similar to the test conditions at the top of the Electrical Characteristics table Slight smile ).

    Best regards,

    Ryan
