ADS8861: the test result can not match the oscilloscope result

Part Number: ADS8861

Hi team,

My customer is using our ADS8861.

And they find that the test result can not match the oscilloscope result. For example, when they the IN+=3.3V and IN- is 0V, they find the test result is only 1,65V.

Could you please kindly help check the cause?

Also, the datasheet Table 4 have a full scale input range as a function of common mode voltage, how can they set this?

Thanks,

Brian

  • Hi Brian,

What is the average output code that the customer reads when IN+ = 3.3 V and IN- = 0V? Have they confirmed that supply voltages and VREF are measuring correctly?

Table 4 explains the absolute and differential input voltage ranges that can be applied to the inputs depending on the common-mode voltage. It is not a setting that needs to be configured in the device.

    Regards,

    Ryan
