I'm looking to use the AFE4432 (or any other similar AFE from the same family) in a project that involves both PPG and a different optical measurement through reflection/absorption in the skin on the near-infrared spectrum (FNIRS measurements). Some of the PD channels would be used for PPG and others for FNIRS.
However, this second target signal does not follow the usual PPG waveforms, and will not necessarily fall under the usual Red, Green, or IR waveform spectrums.
How much fine-tuning for PPG does this device have? Would it also be suitable for this second application that is not PPG based on your experience?
