ADS7038-Q1: Is max sampling rate per channel, or spread across all 8?

I have been reading through the data sheet to try and figure out if the 1MS/s sampling rate is "per-channel", or if it's divided across all 8 multiplexed channels (making each channel effectively 125 kS/s)?
