DAC12DL3200EVM: Min and Max. Input Power Level of 6.4 GHz DACCLK

In section 3.5 of the User Guide of DAC12DL3200EVM its recommended to give +12 dBm input power for the 6.4 GHz external DACCLK through connector J2. What is the Min. and Max. power level that can be given at this port for 6.4 GHz clock?

Thank you for pointing out the relevant specification in the datasheet. I still have one doubt. This min and max voltage specification in absolute ratings is Vp-p, am I right? So min -0.3V Vp-p corrosponds to -6.48dBm and 2.45+0.3=2.75V Vp-p corrosponds to +12.76 dBm for 50 Ohm?

Hi Soumyadeep,

I apologize for the confusion. I think the best way to guide you is to use the recommended operating conditions spelled out in the datasheet.

So for the clock pins that is 2Vpp or +7dBm DIFF into 100ohms DIFF can be applied at a maximum.
