ADC3564: External voltage reference (VREF)

Part Number: ADC3564

In our system, the reference voltage is supplied by connecting an external 1.6 V reference directly to the VREF input (External voltage reference (VREF), 8.3.3.2 of the datasheet).

Please tell me the accuracy of the reference voltage of 1.6V and the effect of accuracy.

Best regards.

  • Koyama-san,

Please give us a little more context.

Are you asking about the accuracy of the external voltage reference that you are supplying to the ADC3564?

This information would be in the voltage reference datasheet.

What external voltage reference are you using? Do you have a part number?

    Regards,

    Rob

  • Hi Rob-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am not asking about the accuracy of the external voltage referenceIC that you are supplying to the ADC3564.
How much error is allowed for 1.6V input to VREF of ADC3564?

    Best regards

  • Hi Koyama-san,

The amount of error on the external 1.6V reference is really subject to the application's error allowed.

You can use the internal reference of the ADC and that has slightly more error.

    Regards,

    Rob
