TSW12QJ1600EVM: EVM is not connecting to PC

Hi team,

i am trying to connect the TSW12QJ1600EVM with PC using min USB but it is showing the error "FT_DEVICE_NOT_OPENED" & hence not able to configure the ADC EVM board. We are able to up the TSW14J58EVM board & it is working ok. Since ADC EVM is not working we are not able to move forward to configure & capture the data.

Can you helps with the resolution? What could be the issue?

Pls. help.

    Mitesh,

    A program called "FT_Prog" should be installed with the GUI.  Have the customer run FT_Prog and when it opens, click the magnifying glass as seen in the pic below.  This should connect to the FTDI chip on the board and we can go from there.

    Geoff,

    I have already tried with the tab called "Scan & Parse", but it is not working at all. I have tried the same option with TSW14J58 board & it is working fine but not working for TSW12QJ1600EVM. Infect we also tried debugging the board & observed that 1.4V & 1.1V are not working as expected. 1.4V only showing less than 1.0V & 1.1V is close to zero. Other supply also not as expected. Board is showing 3.3V & 1.9V  as OK so looks like board has other issues apart from FTDI device issue. 

    PC is shoing the 4 COM ports but when we are trying to SCAN & Parse sometime COM ports starts disappearing from device manager.

    Board we have used to setup the demo was out of box & it didn't work. I hope we are testing this boards before shipping.

    Sounds like the boards is defective, let me see how we can get a replacement.
