ADS9219: Register setting for only using 1 device

Hello team,

My customer only use single ADS9219, so they don't do daisy chain connection.

I wonder what is the difference between the settings below:

Setting 1.

Set Register 00h to Legacy SPI mode.

Setting 2.

Set Register 00h to Daisy-chain mode (Default)
And set Register 01h to 1 ADC (Default)

Customer is confused because default setting for Register 00h is Daisy-chain mode.
If customer is only using single ADS9219, then which setting is more suitable?

    Hi Kuwahara-san,

    Thanks for your question and feedback. We will add further explanations in the next datasheet revision. If only using one ADC, please ask the customer to set 00h register to legacy SPI mode.
