Hi we are developing an application in which the signal from an ADC (ADS42JB49EVM) has to act as the trigger for its own acquisition, and we must be able to sample the signal without losing the first part before the trigger acts. Would it be possible to acquire the signal continuously within a specified time window and then use the trigger to decide when the continuous acquisition has to end?

Also, is there a way to make the data acquisition automatic with your data acquisition software? We are developing our own software to do data analysis with the data produced from the adc and would like to make the whole process completely automatic without having the user manually save the data and then pass it to our software...
