ADS7953: Unable to Communicate with Device

I am attempting to communicate with the ADS7953 in manual mode using the RM57Lx microcontroller with mibspi. However, I seem to be only getting nonsense values on the SDO. My baud rate is at 1000 kHz

I've attached an image of my signals, the first frame is meant to wakeup the device, and each subsequent group of 3 frames are meant to read from a specific register (from 0-15).

Id greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Andy,

Are you able to export the logic capture as a .sal file and include it here? I could take a look at your entire setup from start up if so.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your patience. May I ask why you're sending that first frame of all ones? I don't believe the device requires that, and I wonder if it is not placing the device in an unknown condition of operation. Have you tried the same sequence without that first frame? Bit 5 in the SDI frame being 5 will place the device in power down, so it is possible that the other bits are don't-cares if this is high.
