In the case of using the Fast Reconfiguration Interface in DDS mode, should the DP_EN be toggled every time the frequency is switched and sent? Please provide detailed register initialization steps regarding DDS-FR interface.

    Hey Deepa, 

    DP_EN does not need to be toggled for adjusting the frequency word of any NCO on the device using the FR interface. If the frequency word is updated and the necessary sync source has been provided, the NCO will change frequency and the the NCO will update its frequency.

    If you follow the bring up procedure for DDS Mode in the data sheet (section 8.1.2 of the current datasheet) and then set FR_EN that's all that's necessary. At this point you can update the NCO frequency and phase words via. the fast re-config register space via. the FR interface.
