What technique you would recommend to achieve I2C communication loss detection to ADS7142-Q1 device?
From datasheet register table I could not conclude what register field is best for this... as all of them have 0h default value.
Please let me know!
Hi Piotr,
The ADS7142-Q1 does not have a specific function or register for checking I2C communication status. However, it should be possible to test communications by starting a read from the AUTO_SEQ_CHEN register, as its value will be 0x3 by default.
