DAC38J84: IBIS-AMI Rx Mask

Hi!

We are currently evaluating the SerDes link performance of an FPGA to the DAC38J84 in ADS simulation.

We are utilizing the IBIS-AMI kit associated with the DAC38J84.

We were expecting a mask to be associated with the Rx IBIS-AMI model that would tell us if our post-RX equalizer eye has sufficient height and width, but were unable to find this.

Would you be able to point out where we can find information on this eye mask?

    Hi Edward,

    I am in the process of checking if there is an equalized eye mask. I can only find requirements on the SerDes input specification per the datasheet. Once I have additional finding in the database, I will keep you posted. 

    I would recommend checking in actual lab testing with PRBS pattern and check for BER to ensure the best accuracy for optimized transmission.
