TI-JESD204-IP: loopback test

Part Number: TI-JESD204-IP

Tool/software:

Is it necessary to use the Whizz Systems XM107 FMC loopback test card to perform loopback testing on the reference design?

I don't have a Whizz Systems XM107 FMC loopback test card, so please let me know if there is a way to run a loopback test using only the ZCU102 FPGA evaluation board.

  • Hello Hideharu,

Yes, you can implement loop back by directly connecting the TX transceivers to the RX transceivers in block design. Using the whizz card is what we recommend for testing a hardware loopback configuration.

    Thanks, Chase
