TI-JESD204-IP: Project Error Using Vivado 2024.1

Part Number: TI-JESD204-IP

Tool/software:

Hi,

What is it the Vivado version that shall be used with TI204C JESD IP?
Follow the picture of the my project done on vivado 2024.1 and the messages error.
I got the version TI204C-IP-Release-v1.11-LATEST.
Could you help me?

  • Hi Erivelton,

For Vivado 2024.1 you should use the core IP in the 'Vivado_2022_and_Newer' folder in the latest v1.12 that is available in our secure resources folder linked below.

Also, please note that when importing the CoreIP files you are only required to import the 'TI_204c_IP.svp' file. The others should not be included. This is the reason you see the errors related to the core IP in your pictures above.

  • Hi David!

I'm using the TI tutorial file where it shows step by step how to do it, but when I used vivado 2024.1 it doesn't work. I believe it could be the IP version. I recently installed vivado 2022.2 and created the project using the tutorial in chapter 8.5 that shows the sequence. Although TI_204c_IP_xilinx.svp file does not work in vivado design project. I tried another way. I did not use this file and vivado generated the synthesis and implementation without errors. I configured the IP transceiver to JESD204B. I haven't tested it yet on hardware.

Will I have a problem if not to use the SVP encription file?

I sent an email with details to get the latest version of the TI204C-IP. Did you receive?

    follow the photo below.

    Regards.

    Erivelton Castro.

  • Hi Erivelton,

Using the TI_204c_IP.svp file is required in order for the project to work. Using only the '_entity.sv' file will not work as this file will only have the ports used by the .svp file and should not be imported to the design.

I have send an email in regards to your request for the latest IP. Once we have your response we can grant you access. With the access then you can use our latest version of the IP which has an updated encryption to work with newer versions of Vivado.
