Hi Sir,

We are planning to use the ADS131A04 ADC converter for PH & conductivity measurement for high accuracy & resolution 

and for giving the 2.5V REF to this ADC, we have selected the REF35-Q1 Ultra Low-Power, High-Precision Voltage Reference IC.

Can you please verify the above REF IC (REF35-Q1) is suitable or not for ADS131A04 reference voltage.

If this IC is not capable for this ADC, then can you please suggest us for proper reference IC with Low Cost..

Bcz we have verify tight restriction on project budget...

    Hi M SANDEEP,

    Welcome to the E2E forum.

    2.5V external voltage reference can definitely work with ADS131A04 that can accept a reference voltage up to AVDD-0.5V. REF35-Q1 has a better accuracy ( ±0.05 % max) and low temperature coefficient (15ppm max) than the internal voltage reference on ADS131A04. If these specifications are expected by your system requirement, definitely you can use REF35-Q1. If you are not sure your system requirement, you can make a decision later based on the test result with internal and external voltage reference.
