The AM64x Voh level is based on the output driving a 3mA load. There is a good very chance the ADS131Ax device requires significantly less current than 3mA to drive its input high.
Could you provide your thoughts on the expected loading and the IO level compatibility.
if the ADS131A0x drive :
hight level condition :
ADS131AX Voh(min) > AM64 Vih(min) ==> 1,44 > 1,17 ==> ok no probleme (Logic high margin 0,27 V)
Low level condition :
ADS131AX Vol(max) < AM64 Vil(max). ==> 0,36 < 0,63 ==> ok no probleme (Logic Low margin 0,27 V)
if the AM64 drive :
hight level condition :
AM64 Voh(min) > ADS131AX Vih(min) ==> 1,35 > 1,44 ==> NOK not compatible (Logic high margin -0,09 V)
Low level condition :
AM64 Vol(max) < ADS131AX Vil(max) ==> 0,45 < 0,36 ==> NOK not compatible (Logic Low margin 0,27 V)
these 2 components are designed by TI, I'd like to know if they can be used together or not, even if the logic levels aren't compatible ?
