DAC39RF10-SP: questions about lids

Q1:
On page 220 of the DAC39RF10 datasheet, the NOTE #3 says “The lids are electrically floating (e.g. not tied to GND).”. But on page 224 of the DAC39RF10-SP datasheet, there is no NOTE #3. The lids are NOT electrically floating at DAC39RF10-SP? The lids could be connected to GND? --- A: the DAC39RF10-SP lid is electrically floating, which is the same as in the industrial.  The datasheet will be updated to note this explicitly. 

Q2:
At DAC39RF10, what could go wrong if the leads are connected to GND? --- A: nothing will 'go wrong' with the DAC (electrically, functionally, or mechanically) if the lid remains floating.  However some space customer choose to ground the lid based on their own requirements related to floating-metal in their systems.
