I have built a 64-channel ultrasound diagnostic system using the AFE5816 and have a question regarding its operation.
The image below shows the waveform of a signal acquired using the L7-4 probe.
(This data was captured at the AFE input, specifically at the INP pin, using an oscilloscope.)
From the image, you can observe an echo signal appearing at the 20 µs mark.
However, after deserializing the AFE output data in the FPGA and inspecting it with the ILA, I found noise occurring at the 10 µs mark.
Furthermore, even when the data is acquired earlier than the 10 µs mark, as shown in the image below, the noise still persists.(noise signal is appear at 5~10us depth)
I would greatly appreciate your advice on why this type of noise is occurring.
