ADC12DL2500: Register configuration

Part Number: ADC12DL2500
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC12D1800

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We are using ADC12DL2500 in our design, in that below listed registers has default values and if we want to reset or change the values means when we have to do that?

Our Existing ADC12D1800 doesn't have below listed registers and if those are internally taken care (programmed) by TI in Existing ADC12D1800 means to match those parameters which values we have to assign to below new ADC12DL2500 registers, Could you please share those values with us?

  • Sudharson,

To change the default registers, you must use the SPI interface if the device. The ADC12DL2500 is much newer than the ADC12D1800 and there are more digital features included, which are what these registers settings control. There is no 1:1 replacement mode that you can set the registers to. Instead, you’ll have to decide which functions to enable to best match the previous application.

    Thanks, Chase
