Tool/software:
Hi all,
I am on the process of designing an evaluation board for a full bridge DC-DC Converter.
On this converter, I am interested in measuring the DC-Link voltage and Ouput voltage (across my load).
For this purpose i am making use of the AMC3336. So i ham considering using two of these on my board.
the design for the DC-Link voltage measurement, seems pretty straightforward as I am referring the HS Ground of this component, to the HVDC- of my system.
So effectively, the DCDC_HGND of the component, and the HGND(HVDC-) of the system are on the same node.
The questions and concerns I have are for the output voltage measurement.
Considering that this measurement will be done between the midpoints of the two half bridges of the converter, to what potential should I refer the DCDC_HGND pin of the AMC3336?
Having this referred to the HVDC- of my system, as I have done for the other AMC3336 measuring the DC-Link voltage, does not seem correct since these two points of my system will have different potentials at different points in time.
So, should I refer this to the mid point of one of my half bridges?
Here I have also attached a high level schematic overview of my system.
Looking forward to any advice and recommendation.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
