ADS1258-EP: Why did you not include the 32kHz crystal on the dev kit?

Why didn't you include the 32kHz crystal?  That was silly... the original dev kit had it - see attached TI schematic.

    Hi wayne mitzen,

    The intention of the EVM is to be an evaluation platform so the user can understand how the ADC works and measure the performance in a limited set of use cases. Not all configurations are possible, but again this is not necessary if the goal is evaluation.

    Of course it is always possible to build your own board if you want to test a feature or function that is not included on the EVM
