DAC53204: SPI clock speed in readback mode slower than that in write mode.

Part Number: DAC53204

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am getting the DAC53204 to work, and I am questionning the sense of the phrase "The SPI clock speed in readback mode is slower than that in write mode.", which is repeated several times in the DS.

For me, a readback is made (when SDO is enabled) when any ohter 24bit command is sent, but the SPI frequency is fixed, so I don't understand how this "The SPI clock speed in readback mode is slower than that in write mode." can work ?
