hi Sir
I need a ADC to calculate The RMS Value of current,
i like the feature in the ADS7128, But i need the 16 bit is better, need 2ch adc is enough
did you have any advise?
thanks

Hi Alex,
The ADS7028 (SPI) and ADS7128(I2C) are currently the only devices that perform RMS calculations. The core ADC resolution is 12 bits, but the RMS module outputs a 16-bit RMS output. Otherwise, I can suggest 16-bit, 2-channel devices that do not compute the RMS directly, but the RMS calculation would then be performed by the MCU. Would you be interested in this?

Joel
Hi Alex,
TI offers many M0/M0+ options, notably the MSPM0 family of MCUs. For MCU suggestions, can you post on the Arm-based microcontrollers E2E forum?
My team will follow up with 2-channel, 16-bit ADC options here.

Joel
