Tool/software:

I am trying to install "ADS1x92xEVM-SW-installer" for ADS1292RECG-FE: (EVAL BOARD FOR ADS1292R) on window 11. Installation giving lots of error (NI VC2008MSMs x64 installation failed )during installation of NI software & Driver and during VC++ installation I am not able to install software on window 11. Is "ADS1x92xEVM-SW-installer" not compatible . Please inform how to install on window 11 computer

The failure appears to be coming from the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable or related packages. I would first verify you're running the installer as administrator. Let me know if the issue persists.

I am experiencing the same issue, and I am running the program as an administrator on Windows 10. Here is the error I get:

I found this on the Microsoft support forums:

It looks like the Visual C++ runtime packages installed on your machine could be missing dependencies, or is outdated. The download link in the above post no longer works.

Try downloading and installing both vcredist_x64 and x86 from the link below:
