ADS125H02: Mismatch of input voltage and gain -> Clipping or damage?

what happens if I apply an input voltage too high to the ADC when using a too high gain setting (example: 15 V at gain 32)? Is clipping the only effect or will the ADC take physical damage? Thanks for your help!
