Hello experts,

We want to use ADS1015-Q1 to the satellite project.

Are there any restrictions on using it on satellites?

We are understanding that is not protected against outgassing and radiation.

We would like to confirm whether there are any using restrictions by TI regarding the use of automotive grade products in space applications.

    Hi Toru, 

    There is no restrictions. However, TI cannot guarantee the functionality of products used outside of their specified operating environment. Space is considered outside the specified operating environment for TI automotive and commercial products. 

    We offer two space enhanced plastics ADC, which are ideal for LEO applications ADC128-SEP and ADC168-SEP and we offer other radiation hardened products for MEO / GEO applications.
