Can AFE53902-Q1 be used for a constant power dissipation application similar to AFE539F1-Q1?

    Hi Marie, 

    AFE539F1 has a preprogrammed transfer function that relates the ADC input voltage to a PWM output. 

    AFE53902 is similar in that it translates an ADC input voltage to a related output voltage or PWM out, but instead it allows the user to program up to three output slopes rather than using the preprogramed transfer function in the AFE539F1. I suppose it is possible that you can program these slopes in a profile that would allow you to achieve constant power dissipation. 

    Why would you not want to use the AFE539F1?
