TSW14J57EVM: TSW14J57E select ADC device

This is a followup to my original question.

I decided to choose the ADC12QJxx00 Jmode 2 from the list since this should be identical to my ADC09 device.

The issue now is that the D4 LED on the TSW is not flashing.

According to the user guide this means that the TSW is either not receiving a clock or the clock is at the wrong frequency.

I am operating the ADC eval board in the mode that uses the on-board 50MHz oscillator to drive the SE input of the ADC.

(At present I do not have access to a signal generator more than 200 MHz).

My desired Fs = 500MSPS (so line rate = 5G).

So the questions are:

1. What could be the overall reason that clock is not reaching the TSW?

2. Specifically which of the clock signals routed over the FMC connector is this clock carried on?

3. Could you tell me what frequencies to expect on ALL the clock signals for my above-mentioned setup (i.e. such as PLLREF, TRIGOUT)

I am currently traveling and can set this up in the lab early next week to check this for you.

Just to confirm. You are using the on-board clocking of the ADC EVM?

Have you made any modifications to the ADC EVM?

If you have a block diagram or pic of your setup that would help.
