DAC61416: DAC61416RHAR

Part Number: DAC61416

Tool/software:

In the process of adjustment, it is found that DAC61416 on the board, there are 4 pieces on each board, and some boards will appear a DAC output voltage anomaly;

The specific performance is as follows:

1, the DAC has an output, but there is a fixed deviation between the output and the set voltage, such as +2V; Configure 8V, output 10V; Configuration -5V, output -3V;

2, DAC has output, but does not change with the configuration, is a fixed voltage; For example, -11V or -5.5V

In addition, the packaging is also different, please help to see what is the reason, thank you

  • Hi,

    This looks strange and the behaviour is not expected.

    Please confirm/clarify point mentioned below -
    1. Power supply values measured near the DAC61416 power pins on the hardware.
    2. Are you using internal or external voltage reference, (REF pin#33)?
    3. Share write/read sequence that you are using to bring up the DAC61416 outputs.
    4. Share the SPI write frame oscilloscope capture for  SCz. SCLK, SDI and SDO lines, a single write command.
    5. Is there any load connected at the output of the DAC61416 ? if yes, share the details for the same.

    Thanks,
    Sanjay
