Hi Hanno,
Could I know more about the application and who is the customer?
The AMC1336 could work for an isolated 4-20mA receiver, but depending on requirements other devices could be considered as well. The AMC1336 is an isolated modulator so it has digital output. Is there a requirement for digital output over analog? What type of interface does their microcontroller offer? Was the customer previously using the AMC1305M25 from the original question linked?
Another consideration may be the AMC1351. This is an isolated voltage sensing amplifier with a 0-5V input range. It will have an analog output, so would need an ADC to translate the output to a digital signal again. Typically, for 4-20mA receivers we've seen that translated to 1-5V which is why this device's input range may be suitable.

Please let me know if you could provide any more background so I can further help or if there are any questions.
Best regards,
Eva
