Hello everybody,

I want to use the ADS131M08 for voltage and current measurement, too. I don't use an amplifier, because we don't want to add noise, and further errors. So do you have further informations about the imput impedance?

In the datasheet (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ads131m08.pdf?ts=1751492071609&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fdata-converters%252Fadc-circuit%252Fprecision-adcs%252Fproducts.html) in mentioned Z_In = 330 k typical.

It would be nice if you had minimum and maximum values and some informations about the temperature dependence.

Hi BR Florian,

The datasheet has stated all information we have characterized. You could use 6 sigma statistics method as an estimation for min/max value. If high input impedance is needed, ADS131E08 can be a good option.

because the project is already advanced, we would like to avoid changing the component.
So are there minimum and maximum values and some informations about the temperature dependence available?

Hi BR Florian,

ADS131M08 is a 8-channel, simultaneously-sampling, 24-bit ADC but it is a cost-effective ADC, we tried to keep the cost low because it adds test time/cost to have min/max values on every parameter. As I stated in the previous post, ADS131E08 is a good option if high input impedance is needed.
